The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has a VTU recognized research centre that promotes active research programmes. These programmes aim at the exchange of knowledge among students and faculty members in terms of research or project work, and academic programmes. The centre also offers short/ long term training to students on the latest technologies and development tools and encourages publication of technical articles and provides teaching materials for E-Learning. The centre works to provide a solution for various problems in the field of Medical Science, Information Security, Image processing, Big Data, etc.
