Infrastructure/Facilities
The Department has well-ventilated classrooms and most of them are equipped with multimedia projectors. The Department has its own Virtual Classroom, Seminar Hall, and Tutorial Rooms. The departmental laboratory is equipped with modern and latest equipment and computers to provide good hands-on experience to students. Department also has a well equipped VTU approved Research Center.
Department Library
A well stocked Departmental Library is available to cater to the needs of the faculty and students. It is stacked with more than 200 books which include VTU prescribed Textbooks, Reference Textbooks, Journals, General Study Materials for quick reference for both students and staff.
Laboratories with UPS support
The basic focus in the Engineering Physics Laboratory is to develop a scientific temper and encourage students to innovate in diverse technical areas. The objective of this course is to make the students gain practical knowledge to co-relate with the theoretical studies. The areas in which students conduct experiments are Material Properties, Optics, Semiconductor Devices, LCR Circuits etc. The concepts are applied in various streams of engineering.
