Scholarship

The college is supporting the students to get the scholarship from different organization. It helps poor students, economically backward and meritorious students.

  • Various scholarships avenues are available in the college, offered by various Govt. bodies & private organizations. The announcement of these will be made in advance in the notice boards. It is solely responsibility of the students to seek the applications and apply. College will not be responsible for the delay in submission of application.

  • For students who are applying for scholarship it is mandatory to have Bank account.

  • Scholarship applications will be acceptable only with the submission of current year income certificate

  • The candidates with “ZERO” fees and concessional fees whose scholarship is provided by the Govt., should apply in time and seek claim for it , failing which fees has to be paid by the candidates.

  • On receipt of scholarship, (who are admitted under “ZERO” fees and concessional fees) students are directed to submit the copy of the updated bank pass book for succeeding renewal of scholarship and issue a cheque or DD within one week which is due for the college.

  • A copy of the online scholarship application along with the relevant documents should be compulsorily submitted to the scholarship section. The supporting documents should be signed by the concerned HOD’s and the application should be signed by the Principal for further processing.

  • The scholarship applications should be submitted to the scholarship section of the college with relevant documents on the dates which are mentioned by the college for further processing and not by the date mentioned by the department.


Following are the different scholarship schemes availed :-

1. D Devaraja Arasu Arivu Loan for the year 2019-20

Applications are invited for Arivu loan from the students who have joined through CET of Category-1, 2A, 3A & 3B (other than Vishwakarma, Minority Community, Uppara and Ambiga) , whose parent income is below 3.50 Lakhs (Rs. Three lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Documents to be submitted are

  • SSLC Marks Card Copy
  • CET/NEET Admission Ticket copy

2. KMDC Arivu Loan for the year 2019-20

Applications are invited for Arivu loan from the students of Minority Communities (Muslims, Christian, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Zoroastrians) whose parent income is below 3.50 Lakhs (Rs. Three Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

3. 'ECSS'- Educational Crisis Scholarship Support from HDFC Bank

'Educational Crisis Scholarship Support' (ECSS) programme is envisaged to provide interim support for children facing a personal/economic exigency. Economic hardship or a crisis in the family sometimes has a direct impact on the education of children, often resulting in the child dropping out of school/college/university. ECSS has been conceptualized to provide assistance to these students, to tide over a difficult situation/Personal/Family Crisis without adverse impact on their education. Students pursuing BE under AICTE/UGC/State/Central government rules . Must be facing a personal or family crisis that has occurred during the past three years, due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out of school/college/university

4. CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (FRESH)
  • For 2nd Year BE students – Renewal should be done by the student who have received scholarship in the previous year. Fresh applications are not allowed.

  • 3rd Year & 4th Year BE - renewal should be done only after the result is announced.

  • For Higher Semester students – Renewal should be done by the student who have received scholarship in the previous year. Fresh applications are not allowed.

11. Social Welfare Office Fee Concession : SC / ST students

Eligibility: Below Rs. 2.5 lakh income per annum. Online application (on line Registration id no. is compulsory)

12. Fee Concession /FAAS/PM Scholarship : Cat-1, 2a, 3a, 2b, 3b students (Other than minorities)

Eligibility : For Cat-1 students parent’s annual income should be less than Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum and for others annual income should be less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum.

15. (i) AICTE Scholarship

One girl child of the family is eligible to apply (Only for the 1st year BE ).

(ii) AICTE Saksham Scholarship : For the disabled.
