DBIT-ISE encourages faculty members to spend their considerable time in research and bring a conducive atmosphere to make research as part of institute culture. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-college project exhibitions and paper presentations. Faculty members and students are motivated to work on funding projects of research organizations like KSCST, AICTE, VGST, ISRO, DRDO, DST, DBT.
